Privacy Policy
We at campersAPP take your privacy very seriously. Our Privacy Policy outlines the types of information that we gather about you (the "User") while you are using the campersAPP Site/Mobile APP, and the ways in which we use and share this information. From time to time, we may need to update our Privacy Policy and will always include a "Last Updated" date to reflect new changes. By continuing to use the Site/Mobile APP, you accept the Privacy Policy as modified.
What we collect from subscribers
campersAPP subscribers (AKA campground owners/managers) who wish to join the campersAPP network are asked to provide general information at the time of registration. The information we collect is used to provision an account and is also used for communication purposes. We collect the following information at the time of registration: park name and address, park email, park phone number, and an account contact person. We also use the address to display the local weather within your campersAPP. We do not sell, transfer, or share registration data. campersAPP also does not collect or store financial information from park owners. Campgrounds who subscribe to the campersAPP service pay their monthly fees through a third party company called Stripe; see Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how that data is handled. If you wish to cancel your service with campersAPP, you can do so by emailing support@campersapp.com.
What we collect from users
Campers and guests (the "Users") can access a park's campersAPP with a general login code (GLC) without providing any personal information. A general login gives users access to most areas of the campersAPP mobile app. For enhanced features that require an account, you (the "User") will need to provide: your name, email, phone number, campsite number, and the dates of stay. This information is used to facilitate communications and to process requests for delivery of campground goods and services. At any time, you can email support@campersapp.com to have your personal information removed from the campersAPP databases.
Payment information
campersAPP does not collect or store financial information directly. If you are visiting a campground that allows you to purchase goods and services in app, the campground will either offer a tab system and process payments through their own point-of-service system, or they may use Stripe (a third-party payment processor) to process payments. If you use Stripe to pay for goods and services in app, you can view Stripe's Privacy Policy for details on how that data is handled. campersAPP will not share the personal information we collect with third parties or sell this information to anyone.
Cookies and non-personal data
We receive information whenever you interact with us in the form of "cookies". We obtain this information when you access campersAPP.com or the campersAPP mobile app. When you download campersAPP from the app store and log in with a general login key, we receive information about your mobile device. This information is used to enhance the app experience and allows us to provide location-based services. Information we gather about your device ID is used to provide campground owners with analytics about how the app is used.
Does campersAPP share personal information?
Your privacy is important to us. campersAPP does not sell, distribute, or share personal information with others.
